Securing safe beginnings at Busia Health Centre IV

In partnership with the maternity team, we equipped the ward with mosquito nets fitted on secure anti-theft brackets, protecting new mothers and infants during their most vulnerable first nights.

  • Insecticide-treated nets installed above every maternity bed
  • Custom anti-theft brackets to keep nets in place long term
  • Ongoing collaboration with midwives and ward staff

Working alongside Issa, a basket weaver, and Ndegge, a carpenter, we are backing established craftspeople with the tools, materials and shop front support they need to grow their trade and employ their neighbours.
