Securing safe beginnings at Busia Health Centre IV
In partnership with the maternity team, we equipped the ward with mosquito nets fitted on secure anti-theft brackets, protecting new mothers and infants during their most vulnerable first nights.
- Insecticide-treated nets delivered for every maternity bed
- Custom anti-theft brackets to keep nets in place long term
- Ongoing collaboration with midwives and ward staff
Weekly welfare drop-ins
Regular, in-person check-ins on immediate physical health, mental wellbeing and any concerns raised by workers and community members, held at an agreed time every week.
